Service Description

This intensive BLS level course has been designed for persons working in remote or austere environments. The course was designed ‘in accordance with the Principles of Guidelines Instruction set by the Committee for Tactical Emergency Casualty Care’ and is in line with the unit standards: - 'Providing First Aid as an Advanced First Responder' - Intermediate Emergency First Aid Responder -Basic Emergency First Aid Responder, and includes up to date industry best practices. On completion of the E-learning portion students will be eligible to attend the 6 days classroom training, practical skills, scenarios and a final exercise. On completion you will be better equipped to handle medical emergencies, as an Advanced First Responder' in most austere environments and Anti-Poaching patrols. Learning takes place in the African wilderness as your class room (various big 5 reserves available across Southern Africa) settings regardless of weather conditions.
